Bachelors in Physiotherapy
Students will be trained in core skills like manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and the application of electro physical modalities. By the end of the course students will be able to identify and maximize movement potential through motion.
Scope in Physiotherapy
Higher studies: The completion of the bachelors’ degree course in physiotherapy opens up multiple avenues for further studies. The undergraduate students are eligible for masters in physiotherapy in India and abroad countries like UK, Australia and New zealand. They are also eliglible to do DPT (Doctorate in Physiotherapy) in USA. Apart from this students can also pursue studies in varied streams like M.Sc Anatomy, Physiology, Post graduate diploma in sports sciences, Hospital administration etc.
Job Prospects
In India first contact practice and referral practice is possible in physiotherapy. The investment needed to set up a basic physiotherapy clinic is meager but has a very huge potential which would enable the professional to lead a successful life.
