FACILITIES

Library:

There are three other Libraries available for the students, one in the Banashankari Campus, other is the Central library of KIMS, and another at V.S.Dental College. About 5000text books encompassing all branches of dentistry and medicine are available in the college library. Apart 62 National and International Journals and other publication are available in the college library. Apart from these each departments has library of it's own.

The library also has Inter net and Xerox facility and there is a separate section for post graduate students. An internet centre is functioning in the central library for students to access educational information from world wide web.

Audio Visual Centre:

The institute has full fledged audio visual centre with latest audio visual aids which include LCD projector. Slide projector and OHP projector and Public address system. The seating capacity is 300.

Kuvempu Kalakshetra

Auditorium within campus with about 700 seating capacity.

Hostels:

LADIES HOSTEL BOYS HOSTEL

There are separate hostels for boys and girls located at Banashankari and JP Nagar. Teaching staff Members, Wardens have been appointed to solve the problems of students. Anti ragging committee is appointed every year to prevent ragging in the hostel and college. Strict disciplinary action is taken against those who indulge in ragging. Transport facilities are available for students to commute from the hostel to the college and hospital.

Banking:

Facilities for banking are available within the campus, and extension counter of Syndicate Bank is functioning in the B.I.T.Building.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Scientific and Research Activities:

The college is vey active in academic and research activities. CDE programs, conferences and clinical meetings are conducted by different departments every fortnight. Guest lectures by eminent specialists are arranged periodically.

Co-curricular:

In addition to the regular curriculum, extra curricular activities are also conducted. This is to break the monotony of lectures and clinics. Students are encouraged to participate in these activities and all efforts are made to unravel their hidden talents.

Sports and cultural activities:

The college regularly conducts a freshers' day, Ethnic day, Graduation day and College day programs which include Sports and cultural events. The winning teams represent the college at Inter collegiate, University and state levels.

Games and sports form an integral part of Institutes' curriculum. Our Students have won prizes in Chess. Table tennis at the intercollegiate sports meet held by RGUHS. They were also the overall champions in the sports meet held by Indian Dental Association.

Prizes and medals:

Every year students perform exceedingly weel in the university examinations and secure maximum number of distinctions and first classes.

The college awards, prizes and medals to meritorious students who secure the highest marks in each subject. Best out going student award is also given to the deserving student.
