 POST GRADUATE ADMISSIONS UNDER NRI, IN-SERVICE AND INSTITUTIONAL PREFERENCE CATEGORIES 2006-07.

The following seats are available under different categories:

NRI CATEGORY:

Seats available:  1. Oral Medicine                   -01

                            2. Conservative Dentistry     -01

Eligibility:

1.      The candidate should have studied the qualifying examination (BDS) abroad.

2.      The candidate’s parents should be an NRI by staying abroad for more than 9 years out of 10 preceding years.

3.      If he/she is not been in India for a period of 730 days or more during the proceeding 7 years.

4.      The candidate’s husband or wife staying abroad for more than 9 years out of 10 preceding years.

5.      Persons of Indian origin holding foreign passport.

6.      Foreign nationals.

IN SERVICE CATEGORY:

Seats available: 1. Prosthodontics   -01

Eligibility:

1. The candidate with BDS qualification, working in the institution(VSDC) and his/her name is included in the DCI/RGUHS list of staff members.
2. the candidate should have appeared for COMED-K 2006 entrance examination and secured 50% of marks. In case of reservation category 40% of marks (i.e. for SC, ST and category-I of Karnataka State)

INSTITUTIONAL PREFERENCE CATEGORY:

Seats available: 1. Orthodontics     -01.

Eligibility:

1. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (BDS) in the institution to which he/she is seeking admission.

3. The candidate should have appeared for COMED-K 2006 entrance exam and secured 50% of marks. In case of reservation category 40% of marks (i.e. for SC, ST and category-I of Karnataka State).

Those interested and eligible, may apply on plain paper giving details of candidate, NRI/In-service/Institutional preference (as relevant) status, Course(s) preferred, BDS examination passed (for eligibility) indicating college, year, University, percentage of marks obtained (overall and in the subject preferred) and number of attempts. The application along with Xerox copies of certificate should reach the Principal by 10^th May 2006. The applicants will be considered only if seats are available under a specific category.

NOTIFICATION FOR POST GRADUATE ADMISSIONS 2006-07

Applications on white paper giving details of BDS Degree along with Xerox copies of certificates are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following P.G. courses. In case of in-service and institutional categories, the ComedK Rank and score is also required.
